PRIVATE and GROUP MUSIC INSTRUCTION
YOU: a budding vocalist, songwriter or musician, age 6-96, eager to brush up on your theory (traditional or jazz), expand your vocal/stylistic range, improve your vocal technique, fine-tune your songwriting craft, learn how to breathe effectively, gain confidence to walk up on a stage, or just plain LEARN HOW TO SING.
ME: an accomplished vocalist in many styles (classical, jazz, musical theatre, pop, folk), performing singer/songwriter/pianist, "tunesmith," music theory specialist, and teacher of the trades, recently moved to portland after studying at berklee college of music in boston, and thrilled to have you in my studio!
US: 1. let's meet to discuss your musical ambitions and goals
2. set up a weekly, bi-monthly or one-time lesson (flexible about location and time of day)
i'm also available to teach toddler/preschool-age group music classes! moms and dads: all you have to do is provide a location and 2-10 children.
